Our story

IPTW was founded by Alex Martin, a British chartered accountant who moved from London to Barcelona over 25 years ago. Having made the move himself, and then helped hundreds of others make it, he saw the same problem again and again: people chose a visa, bought a home and only then asked about tax, by which point the most valuable decisions had already been made by default.

IPTW was built to fix that. We bring immigration, tax and property together as one plan, and we work through it in the right order: tax first, then residency, then property. That order is usually worth more than any single part of it.

Today we advise individuals, families and businesses moving to Spain from the UK, the US and around the world, from our office in Barcelona and with clients in London, Ibiza and across Spain.

    FOUNDER & CEO

    Alex is a UK chartered accountant with more than 25 years’ experience in accountancy, business set-up and residency in Spain. He leads every client’s tax plan personally, from Beckham Law applications and cross-border income to company structures and inheritance planning between the UK and Spain.
